SACS School Improvement Goals:

To help students improve the skills which are necessary for the successful expansion and integration of knowledge across disciplines
To help students improve their ability to independently reflect on, appropriately manage, and work toward the advancement of their own learning skills
To help students improve their thinking and reasoning skills in mathematics by increasing their ability to select appropriate operations for a given word problem, solve one-, two-, or three-step problems, and employ problem solving strategies
To help students demonstrate personal and social responsibility by attending school regularly

AYP Academic Achievement Objectives:

To have 73.3% or higher of 4th and 5th grade students in each subgroup score at or above grade level on the Spring 2009 CRCT Reading/ELA test
To have 59.5% or higher of 4th and 5th grade students in each subgroup score at or above grade level on the Spring 2009 CRCT math test
To keep the percentage of students who are absent from school 15 or more days to 5% or less
