Welcome back to the best school in Floyd County! 

We are excited about our new unit of study in Kaleidoscope, “Caravans – Geography and Culture.”  This unit will take us around the world as we study our own state, United States, and other countries in all seven of our continents!  We will learn map skills, research countries, and learn about other cultures!  At the end of the semester, we will have our own “International Fair” to share with all PES students!  The students will also be encouraged to ask family members or friends that have visited a foreign country to come and share their experience with their class!

Please remember to send Kaleidoscope supplies as soon as you can.  I understand the economic “crunch” we are all under and really appreciate you sending in the supplies that your child will need for this year.   

We’re off to an exciting beginning and I am honored and privileged to guide your child through another year at PES!
